Acupuncture

Acupuncture involves first diagnosing by taking the tongue and pulse of the patient as well as a detailed intake form. A very specific point prescription is then applied to address the concerns or inbalance. It can also be done to enhance well being, one does not have to be ill or in pain to enjoy the benefits of acupuncture. Hair thin needles are inserted into very specific points along the meridans of the body. It enduces a euphoric relaxing feeling during and after. Cupping is also done along the channels to increase blood flow and remove stagnation.

Massage Therapy

I incorporate swedish/relaxtion, deep tissue/sports, lomi lomi, acupressure and touch of reiki (energy healing) in all my massage sessions. I also incorporate slide cupping which entails moving silicone cups mostly on the back to clear the fascia and the muscles.

Deep tissue and Sports massage is a treatment that isn't necessarily just for athletes - this massage focuses on prevention of injury and healing of pre-existing injuries, so it is also beneficial for anyone with chronic muscular pain or joint pain. Deep Tissue massage aims to rebalance and realign the deeper layers of your muscles, fascia and connective tissue.

Hawaiian Lomi Lomi

Fluid, rhythmic motion using the forearms as well as the hands. Some people have described this as feeling like gentle waves moving over the body. Another feature is that different parts of the body may be massaged at the same time, for example one arm or hand may be working on a shoulder and the other hand may be working on the opposite hip. This assists the recipient in totally relaxing as it is impossible for the brain to focus on the two different areas at once.

By not working on areas in isolation a deep sense of balance and harmony is achieved. The priority is loving the body, using intuition so the massage is "right" for the client. The client on the table is not viewed as someone to be fixed, but a being to be returned to harmony and balance. It is important to remember that the practitioner does not heal but is the facilitator for the healing.

Cupping Therapy

Cupping is a form of therpy in which cups are placed on the skin to create suction and dates back to ancient Egyptian, Chinese, and Middle Eastern cultures.  Much like the inverse of massage - rather than applying pressure to muscles, Cupping Therapy uses gentle pressure to pull them upward. This can be a particularly relaxing and relieving sensation. Once suctioned, the cups are generally left in place for about ten minutes while the patient relaxes. This treatment is also valuable for the lungs, and can aid in clearing congestion.

*Channled Guidance*

This is an energetic facilitation offered in person or over the phone. These session are done seated and fully clothed (this is not a massage)  Sessions begin with dialogue and discussing what you would like to focus on. I then bring in my spirit guides and allow them to speak through me. Often times your guides will also be present offering advice and support. You may ask the guides questions if desired. Channled guidance is quite a gentle but powerful way to tune into your highest potential and see situtions from a wise perspective.
